Absa Cape Epic: Contest Event Series Ultimate World Mountain Biking in Africa
The Absa Cape Epic is the most gruelling mountain bike stage race in the world, pushing riders to their physical, mental, and emotional limits. However, competitors are rewarded with stories and memories that will last a lifetime. The race spans eight days of racing in South Africa’s Western Cape, renowned for its rugged trails and unpredictable weather conditions.

Queen & King of the Court Crown Series
A new era in beach volleyball! On one court, five teams play against each other in three rounds to determine who becomes the Queen & King of the Court. Olympic Champions, World Champions and National title holders are regularly participating in this new and action-packed event format around the globe. With stops in Germany, Netherlands, USA, Brazil and Qatar, the Queen & King of the Court Crown Series brings the action right into the city.
Jackalope
The Jackalope event series is a traveling action-sports festival founded in 2012 in Montreal that brings together elite athletes, fans, and local communities around sports such as skateboarding, bouldering, breaking, BMX, motocross, and BASE jumping. It combines high-level competitions with live entertainment, cultural activities, and opportunities for amateur athletes to participate, turning city centers into large-scale urban playgrounds. Today, Jackalope hosts festivals and block parties across multiple cities in Canada, the United States, and beyond, with a mission to grow the global action-sports community and showcase emerging talent.
DATEV Challenge Roth
The biggest long-distance triathlon in the world. Swim 3.8 km, bike 180 km, run 42.2 km – all through the legendary Home of Triathlon.
Here, emotions and goosebumps are guaranteed: from the mythical swim start at the Main-Danube Canal, over the legendary Solar Hill packed with thousands of cheering fans, to the magical finish line party in the triathlon stadium in Roth, Germany.
DATEV Challenge Roth is not only famous for its atmosphere; it’s also the fastest course in the world. World best times have been set here, and in 2025 World Champions Sam Laidlow and Laura Philipp celebrated their victories on this very stage.
Nendaz Backcountry Invitational
The Nendaz Backcountry Invitational is an elite freeride and freestyle skiing competition held in Nendaz, Switzerland, where invited athletes ride a specially designed backcountry venue that blends natural mountain terrain with man-made jumps and features. The event brings together some of the world’s top freeriders, freestylers, Olympians, and emerging talents to showcase creativity, technical skill, and big-mountain riding in a unique format. Known for pushing the progression of the sport, the competition has produced landmark achievements such as the first triple backflip and first women’s double backflip.
World Downhill Skateboarding Championship
World Downhill Skateboarding Championship is a multi-event international series showcasing the spectacular sporting disciplines of Downhill Skateboarding and Street Luge in their purest forms. Spanning several events around the globe, the world’s best downhill skateboarders and luge athletes compete on closed mountain roads at speeds that can exceed 120 km/h.
Bentonville Bike Fest
North America’s premier mountain bike festival, the Bentonville Bike Fest, takes place in Arkansas (USA) every summer and bringing together world-class athletes, cycling enthusiasts and fans for a spectacular celebration of mountain bike culture, adventure and competition.
The festival’s headline events included the UCI Trials Pro competition featuring some of the sport’s biggest stars, including world champions such as Alejandro Montalvo, as well as the inaugural Red Bull Double Down Dirt Contest. The world-first hybrid competition paired one MTB rider and one BMX rider per team, bringing together Olympic medalists, X Games champions, Crankworx stars and Nitro Circus athletes in a unique LIVE format.
